I was quite happy with the Allendale for what I wanted: a clean room to sleep in. The shower door and room lighting were nice touches, but the top-floor location with three flights of stairs might not be suitable for everyone. Despite this, if I could secure a lower-floor room next time, I would choose to stay at the Allendale again.

Rooms
8.0
The room looked clean and I was satisfied with it for my needs. I appreciated the shower door and the lighting setup.
Service
9.0
The staff at the Allendale were friendly and offered helpful advice. The owner even went out of their way to provide an alternative scrambled egg dish, which was a nice touch.
Location
9.0
The location of the Allendale is fantastic, just a short walk from the town center and the seafront. It was ideal for the event I attended and very convenient for exploring Blackpool.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience at the Allendale was enjoyable overall, with basic but satisfying options. I particularly liked that the breakfast was nice, although some items seemed budget-friendly.
Facilities
7.0
The Allendale offered decent facilities. While not extravagant, everything was functional and contributed to a comfortable stay.

5.0/10

The hotel has some issues with noise from traffic all night long, and the shower in the room was duct-taped and leaking. Not all guests are charged the same rate, and breakfast was a disappointment with cold food, warm orange juice, and limited options. Additionally, the staff struggle with English proficiency.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was noisy due to traffic sounds and had a poorly maintained shower fixed with black tape.
Service
7.0
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly during my stay, but communication might be challenging due to language barriers.
Location
6.0
The hotel is in a convenient location, making it easy to access town attractions despite the noise issue. Parking is available for a reasonable fee.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was subpar with cold breakfast and limited serving times. Not very accommodating to guest requests.
Facilities
5.0
Overall, the facilities were poor, including uncomfortable beds and broken amenities.

8.0/10

The hotel felt like a home away from home with fresh rooms, ample tea and coffee facilities, clean bedding, and large towels, which was a nice touch. However, the rooms weren't serviced every day, and there were only four parking spaces available, with an additional daily fee of £5.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were fresh, well-aired, and equipped with plenty of tea and coffee facilities. The bedding was clean, and the large towels provided were a plus compared to regular bath towels.
Service
9.0
The staff were incredibly polite, accommodating, and made our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choices. The only downside was the limited parking spaces available at an extra cost of £5 per day.
Location
9.0
The location was excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the seafront, close to cafes and food places, and very convenient for accessing most attractions in the town. However, there were only a few parking spaces available.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was excellent, with a great selection of sweet products. However, there was a slight language barrier with the couple running the dining area.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were good overall, though there were limited parking spaces available, and an extra fee was required for parking.
